Donald Trump Calls Hillary Clinton ‘A Nasty Woman’ In New American Debate

US presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton clashed in what was the third and final debate ahead of the election that will hold November 8, 2016.

It was a more measured performance for Donald Trump, who needed to show that he can be calm and presidential. Hillary Clinton’s level of preparedness shined through and she effectively weathered the storm that never really blew from a Trump that was clearly fighting, and at times failing, to control his temper.

In all, Clinton presented more substance, providing coherent arguments that highlighted her positions on issues. Trump was better prepared for this particular debate, however, he couldn’t manage to move beyond his usual rhetoric and present his points.

In the end, the biggest news from the debate is Donald Trump refusing to confirm if he will accept the election result and muttering ‘such a nasty woman’ at Clinton under his breath.

It remains to be seen how republicans, with whom Trump share a not so steady relationship of late, will respond to Trump’s latest bombshell. Note that this move by Trump to generate what he calls ‘suspense’ is not so dissimilar to him keeping the party wondering about whether he will accept the primary election results.
