Drake Slapped With Lawsuit for Allegedly Sending his Bodyguard to Beat up a Music Producer

According to TMZ, the Canadian rapper has been slammed with a lawsuit by a rapper/ music producer named Detail, who claims Drake told his bodyguard to beat him up after a failed business deal.

In his lawsuit, Detail claims that he had been offered a deal by the Hotline Bling rapper in 2014 to be his exclusive producer but he had turned him down because he didn’t want to stick to just one artist. Drake allegedly was unhappy with the rejection and Detail claims the rapper invited him to his Calabasas estate under the guise of working together on a project.

The music producer stated that when he arrived at Drake’s home, he was met by the rapper’s bodyguard named Chubbs, who knocked him out with a blow to his head and also broke his jaw.

He added that Chubbs had also yelled, “I will beat all your asses, including your bitches. I don’t give a f***. I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake’s a punk?”  Now, Detail is claiming Drake set him up for the beating and he is suing him for a lot of money.

This is not the first time Drake will be accused of being ‘violent.’ In 2014, the rapper was under investigation by the police after a stripper accused him of sending his people to threaten her life following a one-night stand. You can read about it here.
