
Excellence Rewarded: Major General Nicodemus Praises Newly Promoted Soldiers
The Executive Director, Nigerian Army Farms and Ranches Limited (NAFARL), Major General Sinyinah Nicodemus, has commended 11 newly promoted soldiers for their exceptional dedication, discipline and hard work, describing their elevation as a well-deserved reward for loyalty and commitment to excellence.
The promotion ceremony, held at the NAFARL Conference Room on 27 November 2025, witnessed the elevation of personnel across various ranks, from Lance Corporal to Warrant Officer, including two Staff Sergeants who were decorated with the prestigious rank of Warrant Officer, alongside nine other Senior and Non-Commissioned Officers.
In his remarks, Major General Nicodemus congratulated the beneficiaries and urged them to remain steadfast in upholding the ideals of the Nigerian Army. “Promotion is given to appreciate your contribution to the system,” he stated, emphasising that the newly attained ranks come with higher responsibility and renewed expectations.
He further expressed profound appreciation to the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu NAM, for graciously approving the promotions, noting that such recognition significantly boosts morale and inspires others to work harder. He also extended warm gratitude to the families of the beneficiaries for their unwavering support, praying for continued success as they stand behind their loved ones in their new responsibilities.
The Executive Director urged the newly decorated soldiers to continue exhibiting professionalism, discipline and teamwork while also mentoring their junior personnel to strengthen the institution.
Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted soldiers, Warrant Officer Hassan Hussaini thanked God Almighty and the COAS for the honour bestowed on them. “We pledge to justify the confidence placed in us. We will continue to serve with distinction and dedication,” he assured.
The ceremony attracted senior officers and staff of the establishment, who congratulated the beneficiaries and encouraged them to continue contributing positively to the growth and excellence of the Nigerian Army.
