Family of Late Henrietta Kosoko Demand her Corpse; Cancel Burial Arrangements

The family of the late Henrietta Kosoko who died on Monday, o6 June have demanded for her corpse, reason being that veteran actor, Jide Kosoko did not perform proper marriage rites on her behalf when she was alive.

The family made this known by issuing an official statement during her Christian Wake Keep and Artiste Performance night which held at the Blue Roof of Lagos Television (LTV) on Thursday, demanding that her body be taken to Delta State where she originates from as their culture does not permit any indigene to be buried outside the state especially when the proper marriage rites were not done, playground reports.

This has caused a change in the burial plans slated for today 10 June which initially included a burial service at the late actress’ church, Reginia Mundi Catholic Church and an interment at Atan Cementary, Yaba, Lagos.

Henrietta’s corpse will leave for Delta State today. The new arrangement was confirmed by her husband Jide Kosoko, who found out about her death on social media and endorsed by colleagues of the deceased who have shown tremendous support to her actor husband since her demise days ago.
