Phil Weicker and Duncan Forster have transformed their 1969 Cadillac Coupe DeVille into a fully functioning mobile hot tub, which bubbles as they drive. The pair from Los Angeles, U.S.A. plan to take their turbo-tub to Bonneville Speedway, Utah, in August to set the land speed record for the worlds fastest hot tub. The engineers transformed the vehicle, named The Carpool DeVille, based on a prototype created when they were engineering students at McMaster
University, Canada. The team bought the car for $800 and improved its heating, suspension, controls and pool plumbing in a six-year restoration.
