Female WWE Star Chyna Passes on Aged 45

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star “Chyna” has died aged 45, according to her social media accounts.

The hulking and cocky female athlete billed as the “ninth wonder of the world” during her time in Vince McMahon’s power wrestling league, enjoyed her prime at the peak of the WWF’s powers.

Born Joan Marie Laurer on December 27, 1970 in Rochester, New York, she dedicated her life to becoming a successful entertainer, working as a phone sex worker, porn actress and cocktail waitress on her way to the WWE stage.

“It is with deep sadness to inform you today that we lost a true icon, a real life superhero,” a statement on her Facebook reads.

“Joanie Laurer aka Chyna, the 9th wonder of the world has passed away. She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her.”
