FRSC Recognises EFCC’s Support in Road Safety Management

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has been presented with an award in recognition of its sustained support for road safety management in Nigeria by the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC.

The award ceremony, which came up on February 19, 2018 at the Nigerian Air Force Conference Centre, Abuja, was part of the activities marking the 30th Anniversary of the FRSC.
Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, who presented the award noted that the award was in recognition of the EFCC’s immense contribution and partnership towards ensuring safer roads in Nigeria.

Ibrahim Magu, EFCC’s Acting Chairman, who was represented at the occasion by the Director of Assets forfeiture, Abdulrahman Katsina, thanked the FRSC for the award and assured that the EFCC would continue to collaborate and support the works of the FRSC with a view to reduce the carnage on our highways to the barest minimum.

Other awardees include General Ibrahim Babangida, former Head of State; Boss Mustapha, SGF; Hon. Yakubu Dogara, Speaker, House of Representatives; Babatunde Raji Fashola, Minister for works, Power and Housing; and Major General Haladu Hananiya (rtd).
