Gary Neville Reveals The World Superstar He Wants To See Sign For Man United
Ibrahimovic, 35, left Paris St-Germain in July to sign a one-year deal with an option for a second year.
Jose Mourinho believes the Swede will stay but warned: “I never beg for a player to sign a contract.”
But Neville says it’s absolutely crucial the world superstar pens a new deal.
Speaking on Monday Night Football, Neville said: “Over the last three years I think United have lacked personality. In him they have someone who believes and does everything he says he’s going to do.
“It’s a huge job that Jose Mourinho is thinking about already – he needs to get another year out of him at least.
“He needs to win a league at Man United – but can Zlatan play every single week?
“He needs to look at how he can replace his personality and character in the next 18 months because what he’s doing is unbelievable at the moment.”
