Gen Saraso Declares 1 Division Operations Planning Cadre 2024 Open

The General Officer Commanding(GOC) 1 Division Nigerian Army(NA) and Force Commander Operation WHIRL PUNCH Maj Gen MLD Saraso has declared the 1 Division Operations Planning Cadre 2024 for officers in 1 Division Area of Responsibility(AOR) open at the Division’s Auditorium kawo, Kaduna on 25 March 2024. The 3 day Cadre have in attendance participants from units and formations within the Division AOR.

In his opening remarks, the GOC welcomed all participants stating that the Cadre is a training avenue to bring together participants of the ranks of Captains to Colonel within 1 Division AOR so as to build cohesion among them and synergize with other sisters security agencies.

Gen Saraso added that the Cadre is organized to refresh officers on the various aspects of operations planning process in order to enhance their skills and improve their capacity in simple and joint service operations planning processes.

He reiterated that war is becoming increasingly complex due to changes in the threats and advancement in technology saying armies the world over are continually engaged in training and capacity building to enable them surmount emerging security challenges. He said the NA equally recognizes these challenges and therefore seeks to develop capacity of its officers through realistic training that would enhance the conducts of its operations.
