General Wase Tours Sub-Sector 5 Operation Fansan Yamma Joint Operations Area
The General Officer Commanding 1 Division and Commander Sector 1 Joint Task Force North-West Operation FANSAN YAMMA Major General Abubakar Sadiq Muhammed Wase has reassured troops of Sub- Sector 5 of his resolve to ensuring their welfare and sound administration in the field.
The GOC made the assertion while addressing the troops at Forward Operating Base Kachia on Tuesday 26 August 2025.
He urged them to uphold principles of force protection, shun unmilitary practices and embrace the ethics of military professionalism.
Relatedly, the GOC was also at the Nigerian Navy School of Armament Technology and Maritime component of operation FANSAN YAMMA where he solicits for cooperation and synergy in achieving success in the ongoing operation.
Earlier in a remark, the Commandant, Commodore Aminu Isa Chikaji highlights the role of the school in training Nigerian Navy personnel in Joint operations FANSAN YAMMA and FUSHIN KADA among others.
Highlights of the visit was briefing, presentation of souvenir and tree planting.
