GOC 1 Division, Major General Saraso Delivers Lecture To Senior Course 47 and Junior Course 99/2025 Students
As part of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC) training curriculum, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1Division Nigerian Army and Commander Sector 1 Joint Task Force North West Operation FANSAN YAMMA Major General Mayirenso Lander David Saraso, delivered a lecture titled ” *Military Command and Leadership – My Personal Experience* ” for students of Senior Course 47 and Junior Course 99/2025.
The lecture took place on 12 February 2025, at the Ihejirika Auditorium in Jaji Military Cantonment. During the lecture Major General Saraso discussed the concept of Military Command and Leadership, through the lens of both theory and practice. He, further shared more insights from his command experience in order to guide the students officers for better understanding.
The lecture focussed on the Attributes of a Good Leader, Principles of Effective Leadership, Decision – Making in Military Operations and Challenges in Command and Leadership. The session was concluded with the presentation of souvenir and a group photograph.
