GOC 81 Division Encourages 35 Artillery Brigade To Strengthen Collaboration With Ogun State Security Agencies
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 81 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Farouk Mijinyawa has called on troops of the 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala Barracks, Abeokuta, Ogun State, to continue fostering strong cooperation with other security agencies in the state. The GOC made this appeal during his maiden visit to the Brigade On September 18, 2024.
During his address, General Mijinyawa expressed his pleasure at being at Alamala Barracks and commended the troops for their professionalism in executing their duties. He urged them to maintain the same level of dedication wherever they are deployed and emphasized the importance of avoiding any involvement in illegal activities. The GOC praised the Brigade for its efforts in maintaining law and order in Ogun State through effective collaboration with other security agencies.
Upon arrival, the GOC was received by Brigadier General Mohammed Aminu, Commander of the 35 Artillery Brigade, who provided a comprehensive briefing on the Brigade’s activities.
As part of his visit, General Mijinyawa also paid a courtesy call to the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun. The visit reinforced the commitment of the Nigerian Army to sustaining security and peace in Ogun State through synergy with other security agencies.
