Gov. Fayose Is A Mad Dog – Aisha Buhari
Wife of the president, Mrs Aisha Buhari, caused more than a little stir on the digital sphere on Tuesday night, while reacting to recent statements made by Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, linking her to a corruption case.
The Ekiti state governor had in a statement published by an online news medium, claimed the president’s wife played a role in a bribery case involving American lawmaker, Williams Jefferson, for which the latter bagged a jail term.
Subsequent findings by the online newspaper revealed that a different individual going by the same name and not the president’s wife was involved in the corruption scandal.
Mrs Aisha Buhari, reacting to the claims, however, chose a not-so-civil path, likening the governor to an “unchained mad dog” while also asserting that she would not keep quiet, a possible hint that she perceived the Ekiti governor’s antics as intimidation.
Mrs Buhari using her verified Twitter account, also warned the governor, that she was strong enough to challenge him:
The president’s wife has however drawn the ire of many observers, displeased by her choice of words.
