Gunmen have kidnapped Adedamola Alayak, the son of the former National Secretary of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Dr. Adewunmi Alayaki.
It was gathered that the son of the former NMA Secretary was abducted on Wednesday in Ogun State.
Sources say that Adedamola was kidnapped at his father’s farm at the Isaga-Orile community in the Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Reports say the gunmen have contacted the family of the victim for N20million ransom before his release.
The kidnap was confirmed by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, on Thursday morning, noting that Adedamola is the Manager in one of his father’s farms.
He said; “They went to the farm and I think that was where some gunmen abducted the guy.
“We are on top of the situation. Our men are on the trail of the gunmen.”
