Haske Biyu 2025: Participants Witness Multi-Agency Response and Cordon, Search Drills At Camp Kabala, Highlighting The Role Of Family In National Security

In continuation of Exercise HASKE BIYU 2025, participants yesterday witnessed a coordinated Multi-Agency Response to Internal Security / Low-Intensity Conflict (IS/LIC) scenario, followed by Cordon and Search and Road Block Demonstration operations at Camp Kabala, reflecting the importance of a whole-of-society approach in addressing Nigeria’s internal security challenges.

Anchored on the theme, “The Role of Family in National Security,” the demonstrations were carefully designed to emphasize how effective collaboration across all levels, security institutions, government agencies, communities and families, remains central to safeguarding the nation. The activities showcased joint responses to simulated threats, intelligence sharing, perimetre control, systematic searches and checkpoint management. Beyond enhancing inter-agency synergy, the exercise aimed at drawing attention to the family unit’s critical role in national security, promoting vigilance and supporting collective security efforts in the country.

Exercise HASKE BIYU 2025 continues with further programmes, all deliberately aligned with the central theme of strengthening national security through the active role of families.
