
Headquarters TRADOC Nigerian Army Conducts Research and Development Conference For The Year 2025
The Headquarters Training and Doctrine Command Nigerian Army (TRADOC NA) recently hosted a two-day Research and Development Conference for 2025 at the TRADOC NA Auditorium in Minna Military Cantonment, Niger State. Themed “Research and Development: A Paradigm for Doctrinal Guidance in Contemporary Operational Environment,” the conference aimed to build capacity and broaden participants’ understanding of contemporary research and development issues.
In his opening remarks, the Special Guest of Honor and Commander TRADOC NA, Major General Kevin Aligbe, emphasized the importance of focusing on the latest technologies and trends in research and development, as well as their application in modern warfare. He highlighted the need for collaboration and cooperation among security agencies in managing conflicts and ensuring peace. The Commander expressed gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, for his unwavering support and provision of resources for the conference.
The Chief of Research and Development, Test and Evaluation (CRT&E), Major General Aminu Chinade, welcomed participants and urged them to pay maximum attention during the conference. He emphasized the pivotal role of the military in transforming nations through research and development, especially in developed countries.
Over the two-day conference, participants engaged in insightful discussions and presentations by resource persons with extensive experience and expertise. The second day featured paper presentations that further enriched the discussions . The conference was attended by representatives from various security agencies in Minna, Niger State.
In a gesture of appreciation, plaques were presented to guest lecturers and discussants, followed by a group photograph. The Commander TRADOC NA reiterated the importance of the conference for industrialization and military technological advancement.
