IIPS UniAbuja Graduates NASPRI Students Of Graphics Design and Printing

The International Institute of Publishing Studies (IIPS) University of Abuja has graduated students of the Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information (NASPRI) whom are on Industrial Training (IT) on graphics design, printing and electronic designs.

The students commenced IT on 1 August 2025 to enhance their proficiency in graphics designs and printing.

The Commandant NASPRI Lt Col Adamu Ngulde in his efforts to produce students who can comfortably compete with the best graphics designers around the world and to be very useful to the military in the field of graphic designs, facilitated the partnership between NASPRI and IIPS UNIABUJA to practically train and expose students to electronic designs, graphics design and printing as well as the state of art printing equipment.

In his welcome address, the Director International Institute of Publishing Studies Center, University of Abuja Professor Chris Ogbonda expressed delight on the calibre of students he had and their willingness to learn. He added that his joy knows no bound and he takes pleasure in passing knowledge, saying that his delight was informed by the dedication and commitment that the students exhibited through out the one month Training. He further added that the success of the training was evident in the output and expertise during their practical tests. He urged them to continue improving themselves as it will make them outstanding among their peers and notable in their units.

While making his remarks, the Commandant NASPRI Lt Col Adamu Yahaya Ngulde thanked the director and the entire staff of the institute for their dedication, commitment and zeal in passing out knowledge. He stressed on the importance of sustaining the collaboration between the School and the institute disclosing further that the institute has trained 2 different sets of students of NASPRI on graphics design and printing. He expressed gratitude for witnessing another graduation of his students on Industrial Training and charged the students to utilize the knowledge gained to further their proficiency in the job.

Highlights of the event are final project presentation by students, presentation of certificates, presentation of souvenirs, and group photographs.
