In Honor Of Rear Admiral IA Dewu, Nigerian Navy Commissions The Samaru Health Care Center Extension

The Nigerian Navy under the leadership of Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, commissioned the Samaru Health Care Center Extension in Zaria, Kaduna State, as part of the Quick Intervention Scheme in honor of Rear Admiral IA Dewu. The project was inaugurated by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, represented by the Executive Secretary of the Kaduna State Health Council.

The Special Guest of Honour expressed gratitude to the Nigerian Navy (NN) for its impactful support to the Samaru community. Representing the Chief of the Naval Staff, Rear Admiral JA Nwagu reaffirmed the NN’s commitment to community support and urged the public to collaborate with the Navy and other security agencies for national development.

The event was attended by dignitaries including the Representative of the Emir of Zazzau, the Sarkin of Samaru, the Chairman of Samaru Local Government Area, representative of the Commandant Armed Forces Command and Staff College, the Commissioner of Police, Naval Headquarters Directors, and senior officers from various branches of the Navy.

This initiative underscores the Navy’s dedication to fostering civil-military cooperation and enhancing access to basic healthcare for the host community.
