INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, Team Arrives Edo State On Assessment Visit

He will also partake in a series of engagements during his 4-day visit to the State.

This visit is part of the final preparations for the Edo State Governorship election, scheduled for September 21, 2024. The assessment aims to ensure that all necessary measures are in place for a successful election.

They were received by the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for Edo State, Dr. Anugbum Onuaha, Administrative Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Ogbodu, Esq and other Senior staff from Edo State INEC.

In the chairman’s entourage were the supervising National Commissioner , Prof. Rhoda Gumus ; National Commissioners; Major General A. B Alkali (retd), Mr. Sam Olumekun Dr. Baba Bila, Chief Technical Adviser to the Hon. Chairman, Prof. Bolade Eyinla; Chief Press Secretary to the Hon. Chairman, Mr. Rotimi Oyekanmi; Special Adviser to the Hon. Chairman,Prof. M. Kuna Ag.Director ICT, Engr. Bayode Lawrence, DR. Ajoku G.N Director (Health & Services), Ag. Director Operations Hakeem Adigun and other Senior staff.
