‘It’s Too Late. They Should Have Done This 30 Years Ago’ – R. Kelly to Critics of His ‘Sexual Predatory’ Life

A new video has surfaced which shows singer R. Kelly dismissing the people who have criticised his alleged sexual predatory lifestyle, asking why they didn’t come after him 30 years ago.

“It’s too late, they should have did this shit 30 years ago,” he says in the video which seemingly is referring to movements like #MuteRKelly.

The #MuteRKelly movement has called for his banishment from the music industry after allegations that he has sexually abused women.

“I’ve got a million motherfuckers hating me, and 40 billion motherfuckers loving me. I want to propose a toast to all the strong motherfuckers in here right now. Motherfuckers like you is why I still continue to do, because I have a basketball mentality. As long as I got the ball, the world is on defense,” Kelly brags in the video which shows him speaking to a group of men that appears to include former NBA forward Antoine Walker, a native of the R&B singer’s hometown of Chicago.

Billboard reports that the video reportedly was first posted last Thursday (May 18) by a Chicago man named Remus Jackson IV, who can be seen narrating the clip at times.

Now, the video has gained wider attention, as people have now circulated it on various social media platforms.
