Jonathan declares interest in 2015 election

2014Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan has finally declared interest in contesting the 2015 presidential election.

The President told the ruling Peoples Democratic Party leaders at the Presidential Villa in Abuja Thursday that he would procure the party nomination form before its deadline.
The party had fixed October 31 as the deadline for those interested in contesting under its platform to pay for their nomination forms.
