Judge Signs Order Formalising Jeff Bezos & Mackenzie Bezos’ Divorce
Jeff Bezos and his wife, MacKenzie are officially divorced, after 25 years of marriage. The duo’s divorce was finalised on Friday after a King County, Washington judge signed an order formalizing the separation.
According to Bloomberg, MacKenzie will be taking 4% of Amazon’s holding, which is valued at $38.3 billion.
MacKenzie Bezos becomes the 20th wealthiest billionaire on the 2019 Forbes Rich List, ahead of Telsa’s Elon Musk and Alibaba founder Jack Ma.
Jeff Bezos, still retains a 12% stake worth $114.8 billion and remains the world’s wealthiest person.
