Late Colonel ON Taiwo (rtd) Esq, Laid To Rest With Full Military Honours
The remains of the late Colonel Olusegun Nathaniel Taiwo (rtd) Esq. were laid to rest with full military honours at the Ojo Military Cantonment Cemetery, Lagos, on Friday, 14 August 2025. The solemn burial followed a service at Winners Chapel, Akesan, and was attended by numerous colleagues, family members, and friends who came to pay their final respects.
Distinguished members of the DRC 4/93 course, including Brigadier General RB Oseni (rtd) Colonel Adebgole (rtd), Colonel Kehinde (rtd), Brigadier General JC Mbibi (rtd) and the Vice Chairman Brigadier General EB Ajayi (rtd) were present, alongside Dr. Oliver Odiegwu, to honour their departed colleague. In the days preceding the burial, course mates visited the bereaved family and also participated in the testimony and praise night as well as the vigil.
In a message of appreciation, Chairman of DRC 4/93, Brigadier General SK Usman (rtd) mni fnipr, commended members for their remarkable show of love, solidarity, and commitment, describing it as a true reflection of the comradeship, friendship, and brotherhood that define the association.
Prayers were offered for the peaceful repose of Colonel Taiwo’s soul, with course mates affirming that he will be greatly missed, especially within the DRC 4/93 family. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace.
