Major General Adeyemi Alabi Pledges To Collaborate and Support The Nigerian Army Education Corps To Facilitate Positive Transformation
The Corps Commander Ordnance Maj Gen Adeyemi Morufu Alabi has pledged to collaborate with the Headquarters Ngerian Army Education Corps. He stated this when he received the Corps Commander Education at the HQ NAOC Abalti Barracks in Ojuelegba.
The Corps Commander Ordnance described the Education Corps as an important corps that has helped in the development of officers and soldiers through capacity building, hence contributing positively to the Nigerian Army. He thanked and commended the Corps Commander Education for adding value to the Corps, especially for reviving and strengthening the Command Schools. He, therefore, urged the staff officers of the Education Corps to work tirelessly towards achieving the blueprints of the Corps Commander.
In his remarks, the Corps Commander Education, Maj Gen Bello Alhaji Tshoho stated that his visit was aimed at collaborating with the Nigerian Army Ordnance Corps in actualizing his mission and vision of transforming the Education Corps to enviable heights. He explained that he has developed a blueprint in line with his vision and therefore solicits the support of the HQ NAOC.
Maj Gen Alabi thereafter conducted the Corps Commander Education round of the facilities in the HQ NAOC, He said the development witnessed in the headquarters is a result of the tremendous support from the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya, adding that the same is replicated in the Nigerian Army Ordnance School and other NAOC Units and Formations. While appreciating the COAS for his magnanimity, he urged everyone to add value to every command they find.
The Corps Commander Education was accompanied on the visit by Director 81 Division Education Officer Brig Gen AA Ahmed, Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) G1 Lt Col SO Omoyeni, Military Assistant to the Corps Commander Education Maj SA Kaila and Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations HQ NAEC Lt IK Bishir. Also, present at the event were the COS HQ NAOC Brig Gen NA Mohammed, Director Land Service Ammunition Col T Ahmed, Acting Director of Equipment and Store Lt Col I Atumeyi, Acting DCOS G3 Lt Col OO Bamgboye and other staff officers of HQ NAOC.
The visit climaxed with the signing of the visitor’s book, the exchange of souvenirs, and a group photograph.
