Managing Director National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation Of Pakistan Visits Naval Headquarters

The Managing Director (MD) National Radio and Telecommunications Corporation (NRTC), Pakistan Defence Adviser to Nigeria, Brigadier General Azmat Shabbir paid a courtesy visit to Naval Headquarters on Thursday 17 April 2025. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the existing relationship and other areas of collaboration between both countries.

The MD noted that NRTC is a leading Pakistani organisation involved in design, development and manufacturing of modern secure military communication, electronic warfare, radars border management solutions and RCEID Jammers as well as anti terrorism equipment. He further emphasized the need to enhance capacity building and training for Nigerian Navy (NN) personnel in this regard.

In his remarks, the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla who was represented by the Chief of Communications and Information Technology, Rear Admiral HUF Kaoje emphasised that the NN has enjoyed the collaboration of Pakistan in the past which has grown to a greater level today.

He further stated that the visit demonstrates the NN’s efforts to strengthen its technological and Communication capabilities.
