Marvin Star, Dr. Sid Responds To Fan Who Advised Him To Own A Record Label

Dr. Sid whose recent feature with the marvin firstlady, Tiwa Savage ‘If I Start To Talk’ video is trending for the record breaking epic video they just released today was chilling and a fan called him out to remind him that Olamide, Wizkid and Davido all meet him in the industry but today they all own a record label.

The Kabiyesi crooner however, set the fan straight when the fan blasted him, citing examples like Olamide with YBNL, Wizkid with Star Boy and most recently Lil Kesh who left Olamide’s YBNL to set up his own YAGI label.

The father of one and Mavin Records signee maintained his cool and returned the favour in the classiest way possible telling the fan “Don’t need to be a label owner to take the bull by the horn” and going further by asking the obvious question “imagine if very artist had his own  label”

Is having a record label a height every performing artist must attain? Or do folks need to just relax, really.
