Meek Mill Takes Shots at Drake in New Song
Just when we thought we’ve heard the last of the Meek Mill/Drake beef, Meek Mill goes ahead to take new jabs at the Canadian rapper in his latest song.
The new track titled All The Way Up which features rapper Fabolous was released yesterday. In the song which was originally done by Fat Joe, Remy Ma and Jay Z, Meek disses Drake’s new album Views and also accuses him again of using a ghost writer. Meek, who recently won Top rap album at the Billboard awards, rapped in the song, “Views from the projects, n-gga I’m the prospect,” he then added “This is hip-hop, you ain’t write it don’t record it/ I don’t know how they getting down across the border.”
Listen below.
Drake and Meek’s feud began when Meek went on a twitter rant and accused Drake of using a ghost writer for his raps. Drake responded with only two epic diss tracks, Charged Up and Back and Back where he rapped about Meek using girlfriend Nicki Minaj’s popularity for his own gain.
Drake seemed to have since let it go; having said nothing about the beef since. Meek on the other hand remains unrepentant as he continues to come after the Hotline Bling rapper with song after song.
It was only recently that Drake admitted that he no longer talks to Nicki Minaj ever since the beef started. He said, “I understand what love is and I understand her personal situation,” then he added “She dealt with me how I would expect her to.”
With this latest diss from Meek, will Drake break his silence and ‘murder’ him again?
Let’s wait and see.
