Minister of State For Defence, Bello Matawalle Pays A Working Visit To Proforce Group

On Thursday, 30th May, 2024, the Honourable Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle MON (@Bellomatawalle1) paid a working visit to Proforce Group of Companies in Ogun State where he also conducted a tour of their manufacturing complex.

Proforce is Nigeria’s first indigenous defence manufacturing company that specializes in the production of security and military hardware for Nigeria and other foreign governments and entities.

The Honourable Minister’s visit is a reflection of his passion to strengthen Nigeria’s local production of security equipment and hardware. This has also been the case with his oversight of the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) & the Military Industrial Complex under the Ministry of Defence to drive and enhance the continuous local production of hardware for the Nigerian Military, this is in line with his vision of full compliance by the Ministry of Defense with Nigeria’s Local Content Policy.
