
MLAILPKC Commandant Undertakes Familiarisation Visit To NASI: Reaffirms Commitment To Sustained Training Collaboration
The newly appointed Commandant of the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Centre (MLAILPKC), Major General Dangana Allu, on Friday, 30 January 2026, paid a familiarization visit to the Headquarters Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI), Jaji. The visit formed part of his tour of formations and establishments within the Jaji Military Cantonment following his assumption of command.
The visit underscored Major General Allu’s commitment to strengthening professional ties with key Nigerian Army training institutions. He stated that the engagement was necessary to further consolidate the long-standing collaboration between MLAILPKC and NASI, given their shared training objectives. He further sought the sustained support of NASI to ensure the seamless conduct of courses and training activities at the Centre.
In his remarks, the Commandant Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Major General Frank Etim, congratulated Major General Allu on his well-deserved appointment as Commandant of MLAILPKC. He acknowledged the strategic relevance of the Centre, noting that the collaboration between NASI and MLAILPKC has yielded significant benefits and can only get better.
Major General Etim assured the visiting Commandant of NASI’s unwavering support whenever required, reaffirming the School’s commitment to deepening partnership. He also wished Major General Allu an impactful tour of duty at MLAILPKC.
The visit featured inspection of quarter guard, interactive engagements, signing of the visitors’ register, exchange of souvenirs and a group photograph.
