NADCEL 2023: NAOWA Chairperson Distributes Palliatives To Widows In 7 Division Maimalari Cantonment

As part of activities lined up to mark the Nigerian Army Day Celebration 2023, the Chairperson NAOWA 7 Division Chapter, Mrs Fibishola Abubakar has today 3 July 2023 distributed palliative including food items, wrappers and a token of cash to celebrate the event and support the widows. Mrs Abubakar also broke the cheering news of the proposed NAOWA Skills Acquisition Centre in Maimalari Cantonment which she said that it will be constructed directly opposite the NAOWA Secretariat under her initiative which is aimed at teaching the widows and barrack women various skills so that they will become self reliant.

The Chairperson Mrs Abubakar also thanked the widows for their support during her short stay in piloting the affairs of NAOWA 7 Division Chapter, she also solicited for a similar support to her successor the incoming chairperson.

Mrs Fibishola Abubakar further promised the 7 Division NAOWA Chapter that the Division would continue to enjoy the immense support of the current National President NAOWA, Mrs Maria Lagbaja.

Present at the event were members of NAOWA, NASWA and other invited guests.
