NAF Documentary: NAF Capacity Development: Building Aircraft Maintenance Capabilities For Enhanced National Security

In case you missed the airing of the documentary titled “Nigerian Air Force Capacity Development: Building Aircraft Maintenance Capabilities for Enhanced National Security”, on TVC, NTA and Channels TV last week, here it is!

The documentary highlights how, through the capacity building initiatives of the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, and the imperatives of Presidential Executive Order No 5, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has progressively built local capacity for the conduct of major aircraft maintenance activities, including Periodic Depot Maintenance (PDM) of various aircraft types in its inventory.

As a result, the Service has reactivated over 20 erstwhile unserviceable aircraft and in the process raised the serviceability status of operable platforms from about 35% in 2015 to the current level of over 80%. Thank you for your continued interest in the NAF.
