
NAFOWA President Inspires Air Force Girls Secondary School To Aim Higher
In commemoration of the 2025 International Day of the Girl Child, the National President of the Nigerian Air Force Officers’ Wives Association (NAFOWA), Archt. Dr. Rakiya Abubakar, urged students of the Air Force Girls’ Secondary School (AFGSS), Abuja, to make deliberate efforts to excel and become shining examples of purpose-driven young women.
Speaking on behalf of the Chief of Civil-Military Relations, the Director of Human Rights and Gender Affairs, Air Commodore Elisha Bindul, encouraged the girls to remain virtuous, industrious, and confident in their dreams, describing the girl child as a beacon of hope and transformation for the nation.
The event, which highlighted the theme of empowering girls through education and values, served as a powerful reminder of the limitless potential within every girl child. The Nigerian Air Force remains steadfast in its commitment to empowering the girl child through mentorship and the promotion of values that inspire confidence, excellence, and leadership for meaningful contribution to national development.
