NAOWA Chairperson 3 Division Lauds 23 Brigade For Upholding Vision Of President NAOWA

The Chairperson, Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA), 3 Division Chapter, Mrs. Fibishola Abubakar, has commended the Commander 23 Brigade, Brigadier General PK Zawaya and NAOWA Coordinator 23 Brigadier, Mrs Comfort Zawaya for keying into the President NAOWA Mrs Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja’s vision of Sustaining Legacy Through Unwevering commitment to Unity and Service to Humanity”. She made the commendation while performing the ground breaking ceremony of NAOWA Creche, Nursery and Primary schopl for enhanced quality of education in Gibson Jalo Cantonment, Yola the Adamawa state Capital.

Mrs Fibishola Abubakar noted the impact of the leadership of the 23 Brigade on personnel and their family as well as the wider host communities. While addressing spouse of fallen heroes and members of the Nigerian Army Soldiers Wives Association (NASWA) 23 Brigade, the Chairperson emphasized NAOWA’s commitment to unity and service for the betterment of humanity, in line with the vision of the NAOWA President, Mrs. Mariya Lagbaja. She highlighted the Association’s dedication to providing internationally accepted quality of education in fields of science and technology.

Welcoming the Chairperson to Yola, the Commander 23 Brigade, Brigadier General PK Zawaya, describing the NAOWA Chairperson as an astute leader per excellence and a role model, who works tirelessly to leaves a lasting legacy wherever she goes. He also extended his appreciation to the GOC/Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN, Major General AE Abubakar, for his exemplary leadership and role-model status.

Also speaking during the visit was the NAOWA Coordinator 23 Brigade, Mrs Comfort Zawaya, who extolled the good virtues of the Chairperson for her unwavering dedication to the cause of NAOWA, notting that 3 Division NAOWA under her leadership will excel to a greater height.

Highlights of the visit was the ground breaking ceremony of NAOWA Creche, Nursery and Primary School, well as distribution of palliatives to spouse of fallen heroes.
