National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Director Of Seaport Operations Visits Western Naval Command, Strengthens Anti-Drug Collaboration

On 25 February 2026, the Director of Seaport Operations, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), ACGN Achie-Abia Ibinabo, visited Headquarters Western Naval Command, Apapa, Lagos, to reinforce inter-agency collaboration against maritime drug trafficking and transnational crimes.

In discussions with the Flag Officer Commanding, Western Naval Command, Rear Admiral Abdullahi Abubakar Mustapha, both parties emphasised enhanced intelligence sharing, coordinated joint patrols, and effective interdiction operations, while also addressing the need to curb drug abuse among personnel through targeted awareness and internal monitoring initiatives, underscoring a shared commitment to strengthening maritime security and upholding institutional discipline.
