Naval Base Abuja, DHQ Medical Centre Consolidate Partnership For Enhanced Personnel Welfare Delivery
The Commander, Defence Headquarters Medical Centre, Abuja, Surgeon Captain James Adakole Adaji, on Wednesday 18 March 2026 paid a courtesy visit to the Commander, Naval Base Abuja, Commodore Oluseyi Ekundayo Oladipo, to reinforce inter-agency collaboration in military healthcare delivery.
The engagement focused on strengthening existing ties, enhancing medical support systems, and identifying strategic areas for improved service delivery, including discussions on the current state of the Naval Base sick bay and pathways toward National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) accreditation.
Both commanders reaffirmed their commitment to sustained synergy, with on- the-spot assessments conducted during a guided tour of the Naval Medical Centre, Asokoro, underscoring a shared resolve to optimise healthcare services and personnel welfare within the NN.
