Naval Headquarters Team Visits Operation Fansan Yamma Sector 2

On Friday, 20 December 2024, the Naval Headquarters team led by the Chief of Administration (COA), Rear Admiral KC Ezete arrived Sokoto, Sokoto State. The team then proceeded to Gusau, Zamfara State and paid a courtesy call on the Theatre Commander (TC) Operation Fansan Yamma. The TC in his remarks highly praised the Nigerian Navy Special Boat Service (NNSBS) detachment deployed to the Operation for their impact and professional conduct. Thereafter, the Team had a durbar with the Officers and NNSBS elements after delivering the Chief of the Naval Staff Goodwill message.

Furthermore, on Saturday, 21 December 2024, the team proceeded to Forward Operating Base (FOB) FASKARI in Katsina State to visit the Naval contingent deployed there. In his remarks, the COA commended the Officers and Ratings for the successes & achievements recorded by the base and for making the Nigerian Navy proud in the theatre. He then urged them to sustain the tempo of the operations and also gave assurances that efforts will be emplaced to address the challenges highlighted. Lastly, the team delivered the Chief of the Naval Staff Goodwill message to the Officers and ratings of FOB FASKARI.
