Naval Unit Abuja Hands Over Two Suspects and An Accomplice To Nigerian Police Force
On Wednesday 16 April 2025, Naval Unit Abuja handed over two suspects and an accomplice to the Nigeria Police Force.
The suspects and accomplice were arrested in the early hours of Sunday 23 March 2025, following a report regarding the abduction of a female Naval officer and 3 others at about 1900 on Friday 21 March 2025 along Mpape, Abuja. Subsequently, through communication and human intelligence, a joint search and rescue operation was launched which led to the release of the kidnapped victims and the arrest of the suspects and the accomplice.
The suspects and the related exhibits have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force FCT Command for further investigation and prosecution.
