Nigeria Armed Forces, Security Agencies, Others Celebrate Nigeria’s Independence With Special With Special Change of Guard Parade

As part of activities lined up to celebrate Nigeria’s 63 Independence anniversary celebration, Nigerian Armed Forces led by Guards Brigade Nigerian Army and Nigeria Police as well as Nigerians from all works of life converged at the Forecourt of the Presidential Villa Abuja Nigeria to witness a National parade commemorating the historic event.

The Independence Anniversary Celebration kick started with Juma’at Prayers at the National Mosque and Inter-denominational church service held at the National Christian Centre to pray for peace and continuous progress of the country, Independence lecture was also held on 28 Sep 2023 at the National Conference Center all in commemoration of Nigeria 63rd independence day anniversary parade 2023.

The President and Commander -in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was the Special Guest of Honour led other members of the Federal Executive Council to attend the very important event. Also present were the Service Chiefs, members of the National Assembly, the Legislature and Diplomatic Community,
students and members of the civil society also graced the special anniversary celebration.

Climax of the event was the joint colour patrol, display by Guards Brigade Silent Drill platoon, Guards Brigade Cultural Troupes and Mass Band display. Below are pictures from the very colourful event.
