
Nigerian Air Force Boosts Operational Readiness With Infrastructure Upgrades In Benue
The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, has commissioned key infrastructure projects in Makurdi, Benue State, reaffirming the Nigerian Air Force’s (NAF) commitment to personnel welfare and operational excellence.
The upgrades include renovated Senior Non-commissioned Officers’ accommodation, a modernized fire squadron, and an overhauled F7Ni aircraft warehouse. Speaking at the event, the CAS emphasized that the strength of the Air Force lies in its people, not just its platforms. He also praised the resilience of NAF personnel and pledged continued investment in their welfare and mission readiness.
In his welcome address, the Air Officer Commanding Tactical Air Command, Air Vice Marshal Patrick Obeya, commended the CAS for prioritizing the well-being of airmen and affirmed the Command’s readiness to support NAF’s forward engagement strategies.
