Nigerian Air Force Strengthens Human Capacity Development, Deepens Inter-Service Training Synergy
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), through the Nigerian Air Force Institute of Administrative Management (NAFIAM), has graduated 17 officers comprising 7 from the Nigerian Navy and 10 from the NAF, following the successful completion of the Initial Personnel and Administrative Management Officers Course (IPAMOC) 31/2025 in Kaduna on 30 January 2026. The graduation highlights the Service’s sustained investment in human capacity development as a critical pillar of operational readiness, reinforcing the importance of structured administrative training and professional knowledge exchange within the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
The ceremony further underscored the deliberate commitment of the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, to strengthening professionalism through standardised training and joint initiatives that enhance inter-Service cooperation and institutional efficiency. Representing the CAS, the Special Guest of Honour and Air Officer Commanding Ground Training Command, Air Vice Marshal Adebayo Gabriel Kehinde, described the graduation as “a significant milestone in our collective manpower development drive and a clear demonstration that professional administration remains central to mission success.” He emphasised that the course was specifically structured to build leadership, personnel management, and staff competencies required for effective performance across the Armed Forces.
In his welcome remarks, the Commandant of NAFIAM, Air Commodore Isaiah Taiwo, affirmed that the graduands had been rigorously prepared to function efficiently in appointments aligned with their ranks and specialisations, while expressing appreciation to the CAS for sustained support and provision of critical training resources. He noted that NAFIAM remains firmly aligned with the CAS command philosophy of “Standardised Training and Mission-Focused Capability,” adding that the Institute will continue to prioritise quality instruction and institutional excellence. Awards were presented to outstanding officers in character and academic performance, followed by the conferment of certificates on all 17 graduands, reinforcing the NAF’s enduring resolve to build a disciplined, ethical, and highly skilled workforce capable of addressing evolving security demands.
