Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Nigeria, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), in living up to its constitutional role of providing Military Aid to Civil Authority, has continued to provide support to the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 by airlifting medical equipment and supplies as well as personnel of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) as well as other Federal and State Government Officials across the Country to enable them continue their vital tasks in curbing the spread of the virus.
In the process, the NAF has flown over 300 hours of airlift support missions as at 16 May 2020, all aimed towards our collective goal of defeating COVID-19 and ensuring a return to normalcy.
