
Nigerian Army Cyber Warfare Command Pledges Enhanced Collaboration With Directorate Of Recruitment
The Commander, Nigerian Army Cyber Warfare Command (NACWC), Major General KO Osemwegie, has reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to strengthening collaboration and technical support to the Directorate of Recruitment, Nigerian Army.
He gave the assurance on Tuesday, 24 February 2026, during a courtesy visit by the Director of Recruitment, Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Ismaila Sule, to the NACWC Headquarters, Giri, Abuja. The Commander stressed the strategic importance of sustained institutional cooperation in safeguarding the Nigerian Army’s cyber infrastructure and ensuring a secure and seamless recruitment process. Major General Osemwegie expressed appreciation to the Director for the visit and assured him of the Command’s continued provision of technical expertise and other necessary support to enable the Directorate to achieve its mandate effectively.
Earlier, the Director of Recruitment, Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Ismaila Sule, expressed profound appreciation to the Commander for the warm reception and sustained support to the Directorate. He commended NACWC for its consistent technical support during recruitment exercises, particularly in maintaining the recruitment portal from its opening to closure.
He noted that the synergy between both formations remains critical to preserving the integrity, transparency and credibility of the recruitment process, as well as supporting the Nigerian Army’s objective of enlisting competent and capable personnel.
