Nigerian Army Resource Centre Trains 60 Officers In Leadership Development

The Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Abuja, Friday, 22 November 2024, marked the successful graduation of 60 participants from the Leadership Skills Development Course 11/2024. The event was held at Hall B, TY Buratai Block of the Centre.

Designed for middle and junior cadre officers of the Nigerian Army, including Corporals and Warrant Officers, the course focused on equipping participants with essential leadership skills, creativity, and critical thinking. The programme aims to bridge identified leadership gaps, fostering optimum performance and professional growth within the Army.

The Special Guest of Honour at the occasion was the Acting Chief of Army Staff, Nigerian Army, Lieutenant General OO Oluyede GSS mni, ably represented by the Chief of Training (Army), Major General SG Mohammed, who presented certificates to the graduating participants. The ceremony also had in attendance the Director General of NARC, Major General GA Wahab (Rtd), PhD, as well as consultants, directors, resource persons, and officers from the Centre.

The course denotes the NARC’s commitment to enhancing the leadership capabilities of the personnel of the Nigerian Army through continuous professional development and capacity building.
