Nigerian Army Signals Seeks To Strengthen Robust Collaboration With Ordinance Corps As CCS Pays Courtesy Visit

The Commander Corps of Signal (CCS), Maj Gen Nosakhary Ugbo, has sought stronger collaboration and cooperation with the Nigerian Army Ordnance Corps (NAOC). He made the assertion today, Tuesday, 11 February 2025, when he paid a courtesy visit to the Corps Commander Ordnance, Maj Gen Henry Wesley, in Headquarters Nigerian Army Ordnance Corps Abalti barracks Ojuelegba Lagos. Maj Gen NC Ugbo further stated that it is customary to pay a familiarization visit to relevant stakeholders within the Area of Responsibility upon assumption in line with military traditions. He said he is optimistic that the visit will further strengthen and cement the cordial relationships the both Corps have enjoyed over a long time.

In his remarks, the Corps Commander Ordnance, Maj Gen HT Wesley, warmly welcomed Maj Gen Ugbo and his entourage to the Headquarters and thanked him for choosing the Ordnance as his first point of call. He stressed that the Nigerian Army Ordnance Corps and the Signals have enjoyed deep relationships. He stated that the Nigerian Army Ordnance Corps is open and ready to collaborate with the signals to add value to the Nigerian Army. Furthermore, soliciting for enhanced regimentation and capacity building in the areas of computer training and cyber security and digitization of Ordnance Stores. He thanked him for the visit and wish him success as he pilot the affairs of the signal Corps.
