Nigerian Army Troops Foil Kidnap, Rescue Victims, Destroy IED

In a bold operation on 28 Aug 25, Nigerian Army troops of 144 Battalion with Civilian JTF rescued 2 kidnapped civilians in DUHU Village, Madagali LGA, Adamawa State, after engaging ISWAP/JAS terrorists who fled in disarray. Search efforts continue to rescue the remaining victim.

Meanwhile, in the South East, troops of 302 Artillery Regiment and 14 Field Engineer Regiment on 29 Aug 25 destroyed a discovered IED in Ihiala LGA, Anambra State, averting a major threat.
