Nigerian Defence Academy Directorate Of Collaboration and Linkages Visits Nigerian Army Resource Centre
The Nigerian Defence Academy Directorate of Collaboration and Linkages paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Army Resource Centre on Thursday, 20 November 2025. The delegation was formally received by the Director General at the Board Room, TY Buratai Block, Nigerian Army Resource Centre Complex, Abuja.
Stating the purpose of the courtesy call, the Team Leader, Professor Yahaya Ahmed Umar, expressed sincere appreciation and warm congratulations to the Director General, Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Major General J G K Myam (retired) OFR, on his well-deserved appointment and for the warm reception accorded the team. He acknowledged that the longstanding collaboration and partnership between the Centre and the Directorate had played a significant role in producing quality graduates through enhanced academic and professional support.
He further emphasised the need to reassess the existing Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions to strengthen and expand areas of collaboration and partnership.
Responding, the Director General, Major General J G K Myam (retired) OFR, warmly welcomed the delegation and congratulated Professor Yahaya Ahmed Umar on his recent appointment as Director of the Directorate. He assured the visitors that the Memorandum of Understanding would be re-evaluated with a view to exploring additional areas for deeper collaboration and enhanced institutional partnership.
Highlights of the visit included the presentation of a souvenir, signing of the visitors’ book by the team leader and a group photograph with the visitors.
