Nigerian Navy Advances Personnel Welfare With Strategic Projects

The Nigerian Navy has advanced its drive toward a modern, agile and professional force with the commissioning of key welfare infrastructure at NNS SOROH by the Flag Officer Commanding Central Naval Command, Rear Admiral Suleiman. The projects, comprising an extended Quick Impact water scheme with a 20,000- litre overhead tank and a remodeled power station, are designed to guarantee reliable water and electricity supply across accommodation and administrative facilities, thereby enhancing personnel welfare and operational efficiency.

The FOC commended the Commander NNS SOROH, Commodore Christian Akokota, for his initiative, noting that such targeted interventions directly support the Chief of the Naval Staff’s vision of a responsive and professional naval force capable of securing Nigeria’s maritime domain in synergy with other security agencies.
