Nigerian Navy Conducts Career Planning Week For Midshipmen and Officer Cadets

The Nigerian Navy conducted the maiden Career Planning Week for the midshipmen of 71 Regular Course from 7-9 August 2024 at the Rear Admiral MAB Elegbede Hall, Headquarters Naval Training Command Ebubu, Rivers State.

The Chief of the Naval Staff Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla was represented by the Navy Secretary Rear Admiral PC Nwatu at the occasion. Senior officers from various departments gave motivational talk to the midshipmen to unleash the latent potentials that exist in all departments of the Nigerian Navy.

There were extensive interactive sessions in which the resource persons counseled the midshipmen on how to chart a good career path. The occasion also featured presentation of souvenir to the Guest Speakers and the resource persons by the representative of the Chief of the Naval Staff.
