Nigerian Navy Intelligence School Graduates Participants Of Forensic Investigation Course

On Friday 7 March 2025, the Nigerian Navy Intelligence School (NNIS) graduated a total of 29 participants of Basic Forensic Investigation Course 02/2025 in Ubima, Rivers State. The course spanned for 3 weeks, drawing participants from the Naval Intelligence, Naval Police, Legal and Special Boat Service.

In his remarks, the Special Guest of Honour, the Commandant Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, Rear Admiral VD Choji called on the officers and ratings for the successful completion of the course. He also commended them for their good behaviour during the course and urged them to put the knowledge they acquired into good use. He further stressed the need for increased collaboration with other security agencies in combating the myriad of contemporary security challenges bedevilling the country. Lastly, he thanked the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla for the support and effort at providing the School with all necessary wherewithal to function.

Ultimately, the Commandant NNIS, Commodore BN Sule stated that the primary objective of the course is to equip the participants with the requisite forensic investigation knowledge and skills for enhanced intelligence gathering and prosecution of arrested suspects in support of Nigerian Navy as well as joint and combined operations.
