Nigerian Navy Military School Holds Its Second Edition Of The Passing Out Ceremony For Young Sailors

On Friday 9 and Saturday 10 August 2024, the Nigerian Navy Military School (NNMS) Ikot-Ntuen conducted its second editions of its Speech & Prize Giving Day and Passing Out Ceremony for the young sailors at the School auditorium. The NNMS graduated 67 young sailors. The best 3 graduating young sailors who distinguished themselves in military drills and academics were Ekanem IU, Faranpojo AO, and Adetunji MA.

The Special Guest of Honour and Reviewing Officer, the Chief of Naval the Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, was represented by the Chief of Administration, Naval Headquarters, Rear Admiral KC Ezete.

In his address, the CNS emphasised the importance of discipline, patience, and hard work in their future endeavours. He highlighted that these qualities are essential for a successful military career and urged the graduands to be exemplary ambassadors of the NNMS as they pursue their future aspirations. The CNS commended the Commandant of the School, Captain OB Oko, and all Naval personnel serving in the school for their dedication to fulfilling the mission of the institution.

In attendance was the Navy Secretary, Rear Admiral PC Nwatu, Chief of Accounts and Budget, Rear Admiral OO Olukoya, Director of Naval Education, Commodore SA Ogwu among other Senior Officers.
